Lüdenscheid, Germany, 14 January 2005. Transparent aluminium and glass façades are the distinctive feature of the architecture currently being used for building projects. They present the industry with a challenge because it is expected to provide system solutions that are practical, long lasting, versatile and, not least, which can be processed quickly and economically..
Certificated element façade — a modern and rational approach with virtually unlimited design freedom

With its innovative, certificated element façade, Hueck/Hartmann has launched a novel façade system that fulfils all of these expectations, and which in the meantime has won over architects, fabricators and property owners in numerous completed building projects.
The heart of the system is the certificated sealing concept around which the façade elements are arranged. The system offers considerable flexibility when it comes to the design of the inner and outer shells of the façade profiles. These profiles benefit from the expertise of a team that specialises in providing individual solutions for special building projects, and they are based on Hueck/Hartmann’s competence and technical capabilities. The Lüdenscheid-based company can rely on a complete range of in-house services that ranges from cast house and toolmaking shop through to its own development department. It is therefore able to develop and implement an astonishingly wide range of customised solutions in a short time.
The element façade not only permits variety in the design but also in the layout of the façade, with elements for the openings in all popular variations, as well as in the integration of solar protection and air-conditioning, including the incorporation of these functions in building monitoring systems. The main components of the Hueck system can be integrated within the element frame and thus make it possible to choose nearly any type of section or opening without the need for additional expertise.
Prefabricated façade elements delivered just in time allow the fabricator to pre-assemble the units quickly in his workshop regardless of the weather. This allows final installation at site to be carried out speedily so that even tight erection schedules can be met. An added benefit is the rapid closure of the façade.
There is no need for scaffolding. The large prefabricated elements are lifted into position using an assembly or mobile crane, or even a powered platform, and then installed with only a small amount of labour required. Optimised erection times ensure that work progresses quickly, in other words less labour is required at the building site and this thus lead to significantly lower labour costs. -
