There is an increasing demand for environmental product declarations (Environmental Product Decla-ration – EPD), which are required for building certification systems. These are carried out by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V. [German association for sustainable construc-tions] for Germany or by BREAAM, LEED, ÖGNI, SGNI etc. on an international basis.
For Hueck window an EPD issued in German by ift Rosenheim is now available and can be used for windows and window elements made of thermally separated frame profiles of any given size and structure.
